5Prime Sciences and Dexoligo Therapeutics Announce Target Discovery Collaboration for Liver-Directed GalNAc-siRNA Therapeutics

Montreal, Canada [2026/FEB/03 09:00 EDT] — 5Prime Sciences Inc., a genomics-driven target discovery company, today announced a strategic research collaboration with Dexcel Pharma Technologies Ltd. , through Dexoligo Therapeutics, to discover genetically supported, liver-expressed targets for development using GalNAc-siRNA therapeutics.

5Prime was founded to accelerate drug development by identifying causal drug targets, and biomarkers, as well as identify patients for clinical trial enrichment. In this collaboration, 5Prime will use human genetics and multi-omics data to identify liver-expressed targets with clear causal links to disease and strong biological rationale. Dexoligo Therapeutics will lead downstream development and commercialization of selected programs.

“At 5Prime, we are committed to using causal human biology to guide better decisions in drug discovery,” said Brent Richards, CEO of 5Prime. “This collaboration allows us to apply that approach to liver-directed RNA therapies alongside a partner with development expertise.” said Brent Richards, CEO of 5Prime.

“For Dexoligo,  this partnership strengthens our pipeline by giving us access to targets that are well supported by human causal data,” said Shay Sela, Head of Dexoligo Therapeutics. “It helps us focus our efforts on programs with a higher chance of being translated into meaningful therapies.

Financial terms include research service fees and the potential for downstream milestone payments and royalties.
